    The family tree below describes the probable ancestry of Joseph Blaymires back to a grandfather, John Blaymires.  Joseph and Mary had seven children, all baptised in Bradford, Yorkshire.  In 1859, Joseph and Mary and their four surviving children emigrated to New Zealand on the "Mariner" arriving at Nelson on 20 April 1859.
