Donald Langley Turner Wallis or Turner Cottage Nairn Street Wellington Left:  This photo is believed to be of Donald Langley Turner who was born about 1854 in Brooklyn, New York and died in Sydney NSW in 1919.   He married Clara Louisa Wallis in 1906.
Right:  A photo of the Wallis or Turner Colonial Cottage in Nairn Street, Wellington which was built for William and Catherine Wallis, the parents of Clara Wallis, who married Donald Langley Turner.   The cottage is now a museum.

The corner was known as Turner's Corner at that time.   The shop was opened in 1884.

William Nepean McIntosh Mary Ellen McIntosh nee Turner Mary Ellen McIntosh nee Turner Left:  William Nepean McIntosh who married Mary Ellen Turner in 1878.   He was born in Auckland in 1853 and died at One Tree Hill in 1933.   He was a teacher at Waiheke, Epsom and Onehunga (headmaster).
Middle:  Mary Ellen McIntosh (nee Turner), born 1855 at Brooklyn, New York.
Married William Nepean McIntosh, schoolmaster of Auckland, New Zealand.
