Elizabeth Waymouth
Born at Millbrook (Parish of Maker), Cornwall.
Baptised at Maker, Cornwall on 13 Apr 1800.
Died at Plymouth, Devon on 3 Apr 1875.
Elizabeth was the third of six children of John Waymouth and
Mary (nee Penn) of the Parish of Maker, Cornwall. Their
second child was also named Elizabeth but died at the age of
one month.
Elizabeth never married. At the time of the 1851 census,
Elizabeth was an annuitant, living in Plymouth with her sister,
Susan Bryant, Susan's husband and 8 year old daughter (later Susan Gayer).
The probate for Elizabeth said that she was of Plympton
St.Mary but late of Plymouth, both in the County of Devon,
spinster, who died on 3 April 1875 at 8 Braidwood Terrace,
Plymouth. Will proved at Exeter on 21 April by Susan Gayer
(wife of Charles Richard Gayer, retired Commander, Royal
Navy) of 8 Braidwood Terrace, the niece and sole executrix.
