Catherine Waymouth
(formerly Dubberley, nee Omer)

Born at Bermondsey, Surrey on 18 Sep 1799
Died at Edmonton, London in 1900
Catherine was the fourth of seven daughters of John Omer and
Elizabeth (nee Rout) of Bermondsey, Surrey.
Catherine married firstly John Dubberley at Hoo, Kent on 25
December 1819. They had two children: Eleanor Elizabeth
Dubberley (born 25 Dec 1820, married R. Grey and had 9
children) and John Omer Dubberley (born 24 Jan 1822).
Catherine married secondly William Waymouth (see), a
surveyor, at St Giles, Camberwell, Surrey on 3 January 1838.
Catherine and William had three sons: William John Waymouth
(see), Frederick Waymouth (who died young) and George
Waymouth (see).
Catherine told Norman Waymouth that she clearly recalled
being fifteen when she joined in the street dancing with the
soldiers returning from Waterloo in 1815.
Catherine died, aged 100, in 1900 having lived in three centuries.
