After completing a BA at Oxford Joseph became a clergyman and was Rector at High Ham, Somerset from 1803 until his death in 1851. Right: Jane Margaret Evans (nee Shaw) , born 1788, was the youndest of six children of John Shaw (1741-1789) and Elizabeth (nee Latham). Jane married Evan Holliday Evans in 1830. They had no children. |

Lydia married William Shaw. She was an amateur artist. The vicarage above left is one of her paintings. Right: William Henry Edward Dalzel Shaw (1802-1886), eldest son of Joseph Shaw and Agnes Isabella (nee Benge). He was ordained a priest in 1827 and was curate at High Ham for many years. |
