Rooney tree After their marriage in Auckland, Sarah and Robert moved to Robert's farm
near the corner of Great South and Alfriston Roads, Manurewa where after

Sarah was the second daughter of Andrew ROONEY and Sarah Married at Robert Manfred Robert Manfred was known as Manfred. He was a farmer,
Frances (nee THOMPSON) of Saintfield, County Down ROONEY St Marks Church SCOTT the eldest son and fourth of six children of Robert Walton
who emigrated to Sydney in 1838 where Sarah was born b. 23 Dec 1840 Remuera on b. 19 Dec 1835 SCOTT and Susannah (nee WITHERS) of Leicester
and then moved to Auckland in November 1841 with (Sydney NSW) 23 March 1858 (Leicester) Manfred and his sister Arabella (later Mrs SMALLFIELD)
their first two daughters aboard the brig "Nimrod" d. 26 Oct 1918   d. 26 Oct 1918 emigrated to NZ on the "Joseph Fletcher" in 1855.
