  Bethiah was the third child and third daughter of Bethiah married at Alexander Alexander was a carpenter of Rotherham,  
  Andrew ROONEY and Frances (nee THOMPSON) ROONEY St. Pauls THOMSON Canterbury,   He was a first cousin of Bethiah.  
  of Saintfield, County Down who emigrated to Sydney born 12 Feb 1844 Auckland born 26 Feb 1841 He was the eldest son of Alexander THOMPSON  
  in 1838 on the immigrant ship "Mandarin" and then (Auckland) 30 Apr 1861 (County Down) and Agnes (nee THOMPSON) of County Down  
  to Auckland on the brig "Nimrod" in November 1841. died 30 Aug 1932   died 26 Apr 1914 who were second cousins to each other.
