Allison grave in Symonds St Cemetery, Auckland Margaret Allison nee Faulds Left:  Grave at Symonds Street, Auckland, of James ALLISON, born at Fulton, Scotland in 1810 and died at Auckland in 1878.
Also his wife, Margaret (nee FAULDS) born in Paisley and died in Auckland in 1883.
Also a grandson, John James KELLY (1869-1894).

2 Hume WW1 soldiers James Allison Hume 1860-1943 Left:  James Allison HUME (1889-1916) and Richard Askew HUME (1887-1917). Both brothers died in France during World War 1.
Right:  James Allison HUME (1860-1943) uncle of the two WW1 soldiers on the left. His older brother, Robert Haxton HUME (1852-1929), was their father. The Robert Hume family lived at Aratapu and Mangawhare near Dargaville.
Robert Laurie senior Elizabeth Laurie nee Allison Left:  Robert LAURIE, son of William and Mary LAURIE, born at Paisley in 1829 and died at Auckland in 1899.  He and his future wife, Elizabeth, were children on board the Duchess of Argyle in 1842. Robert and his brothers ran brickworks on a large section of land in Karangahape Road and later moved the business to the Whau in West Auckland.
Right:  Elizabeth LAURIE (nee ALLISON), daughter of James and Margaret ALLISON, born at Paisley in 1836 and died at Auckland in 1911.
Elizabeth married Robert LAURIE at Auckland in 1854.

Charles Allison and Sarah Alderton Allison Whelan family Left:  Charles ALLISON was the adopted son of James and Margaret ALLISON.   Charles was born in Whangarei in 1844 and was baptised at St Andrews Church, Epsom, Auckland on 3 June 1849.
  In 1867 Charles married Sarah ALDERTON (born in England) (photo left).

Yatton Park Tauranga Seccombes Brewery Khyber Pass Road Left:  Mary ALLISON married John Alfred CHADWICK, the eldest son of John CHADWICK who, in 1867, bought the land that is now Yatton Park in Tauranga (pictured). John and his son, John Alfred CHADWICK built a homestead, produced wheat and beautified the land.
Right:  Mabel, the only surviving child of Mary and John Alfred CHADWICK married John Herbert SECCOMBE a son of John Carrol SECCOMBE who was a son of Richard SECCOMBE, the founder of Seccombe's Brewery in Khyber Pass Road (pictured). John Herbert was a brewer there.
George Wright and Margaret nee Dye James Allison and Florence E nee Martin Left:  Margaret WRIGHT (nee DYE) (1869-1958) born at Kaukapakapa and her husband, George WRIGHT (1876-1965) born at Whitianga. George owned the Paparoa store for a time.
Right:  James Allison DYE (1877-1961) born at Kaukapakapa and his wife Florence Elizabeth MARTIN (1875-1957) born at Dunedin.
John Kelly Annie Kelly (nee Allison) Left:  John KELLY (1849-1930) son of James KELLY and Margaret (nee FILGATE) born at Pepperstown, Ardee, County Louth, Ireland. John arrived in Auckland on the "Mineava" in 1847.
Right:  Annie ALLISON (1849-1930) was born in Epsom, Auckland and was baptised at St Andrews Church there on 3 June 1849 in the presence of her sister, Margaret SENIOR, and her mother, Margaret ALLISON.
Charles ALLISON was baptised there on the same day.
